Sustainable fuels have their own unique characteristics that make them distinct from more traditional physical coal, oil and gas trading.
Trading is often done as a higher number of smaller parcels, and fuels are typically sourced from a larger range of suppliers.

The flexible attribute structure allows disparate sustainable development ordinances (such as Redcert and ISCC)
to be incorporated into the a single standard framework,
while maintaining the ability to add new schemes through system configuration
enTrader’s Logistics module allows complete inventory and stock management of biomass and biofuels stock piles,
tank storage, bunkers and silos.
Qualities and volumes of fuel stock can be accurately accounted throughout the product lifecycle.
The system includes comprehensive on-site product handling capabilities,
including on-site transfers of biomass/biofuels, product conversions
e.g. converting biomass straw to pellets, off-site transfers, sales and fuels consumption.
enTrader provides traceability and fuel source attribute management of sustainable fuels
from origin through to consumption or onward sale.
Fine grain transaction management of fuels by vessel, rail, road or pipeline can be planned with differing scenarios.
Supplier orders can be generated based on these planned fuel requirements,
and the details of actual fuel movement comprehensively captured.
These fuel movements can be linked back to the original sales to provide accurate contracted,
planned and actual quality and volume monitoring.
Launched less than 3 years ago, enTrader is already in use at eight organisations
across Europe including E.ON and RWE.
