Powerful Inter-Industry Communication Platform

enVoy is designed as a modular platform for managing the various industry specific communication flows prevalent in the energy industry. The platform provides common facilities for file handling, alerting and security; industry specific modules are then implemented using this framework. enVoy provides a consistent, reliable and proven platform for managing multiple types of energy industry data flows.

Sophisticated Alerting, Validation and Exception management

enVoy allows the definition of comprehensive alerting and validation criteria to ensure all data is valid and the user is quickly informed of any alert conditions such as broken links to the system operator or message failures.

Rich Data Visualisation

enVoy allows fast and intuitive access to all data associated with data flows to allow fast diagnosis of issues. enVoy provides drill through from each submission to see related responses and any associated alerts, and also provides simple access to the raw messages. Each interface provides a Real-time graphical view of the current position allowing operators to be confident in the status of all external interfaces.

Module Extensibility

enVoy provides a variety of off-the-shelf modules for connections to a variety of market and system operators. Contigo are continually extending the list of markets supported. Elexon ECVNA Module

The Elexon ECVNA module provides comprehensive management of the ECVN contract notification process between a UK Power trading organisation and Elexon. The module provides a link between the Trading system and Elexon and ensures the contracted position held at Elexon is always correct with the minimum of user interaction.

EDL (NGT Electronic Dispatch and Logging) Module

The enVoy EDL module provides an interface for NGT EDL which allows generators in the UK Power market to receive instructions from and submit dynamic parameter changes back to NGT. The interface supports the published EDL interface protocols and allows sophisticated, dynamic management of each generation unit managed by a Supplier. The enVoy EDL module can be easily integrated with the enVoy EDT module or another EDT system.

EDT (NGT Electronic Data Transfer) Module

The enVoy EDT module provides an interface for NGT EDT, allowing generators in the UK Power Market so send various types of submission to NGT such as Physical Notifications, Bid Offer Submissions, BODs and Parameter and Run rate data. Submissions can be manually created within enVoy, bulk imported from s/sheets or loaded from external systems using the enVoy API. enVoy EDT can be easily integrated with existing plant scheduling and forecasting systems and provides an extremely reliable and managed interface to NGT.

enVoy IBMS (UK Gas Interruption) Module

The enVoy IBMS module provides an interface with xoserve, allowing UK Gas Shippers to submit Auction interruption details, and process the subsequent action results. enVoy IBMS supports the interruption business process via an easy-to-use management application. This system enables shippers to record details of their sites and customers, identifies eligible sites and allows interruptible bids to be formulated. In addition, the software also controls all the files to and from xoserve, handling the submission and validation of all shipper files.

Re-usable Submission Profiles

enVoy allows re-useable submission profiles to be used when generating EDL and EDT submissions allowing fast submission of common scenarios for each generating unit.

Powerful Integration and Customisation

enVoy provides a core system that is extensible allowing interfaces to be easily created to other systems. A plug-in architecture easily allows client specific functionality to be incorporated. Most screens within enVoy can be customised with additional custom fields. All enVoy functionality can be accessed via a web services based API and client developed reports can also be embedded within the system.

enVoy is a web based application based on the latest Microsoft .Net technology. It can be delivered as a hosted, SaaS application or implemented on-premise. We use standard, industry tools to ensure you are not stuck with outdated and difficult to support technology. The system has been built using Contigo’s extensive application framework, and provides a consistent, intuitive interface to make the system quick to learn and simple to use.

Comprehensive Security and Audit

enVoy provides a comprehensive role and permission based security system allowing fine-grained roles to be defined to meet many security policies. All actions in the system are audited so changes within the system are easily tracked and reported on.

Fast Implementation

enVoy can be implemented to work “out of the box”. The majority of configuration can be done through the application without the need for expensive consultants. Interfaces, plug-insreports and alerts can be built and easily integrated by either Contigo or the client’s IT team.
