We have a pin-point focus on this niche area and we’ve stuck to that rigidly – it means we’re up to speed from day and ensure our customers projects are delivered quickly and are successful; in doing so we continue to grow and be successful ourselves”

“Contigo has provided us the opportunity to apply the latest technology to building applications for the energy industry, and we have created a set of next-generation products that I am very proud of. We really offer something different to existing energy software providers, and I get a great buzz from the positive feedback and enthusiasm for our products that we get from our customers.“
David Calmonson – Sales Manager
David is responsible for the company’s new business development and product sales. With 25 years sales experience, the majority being into the energy industry throughout Europe, David’s expertise in developing new leads through to resultant business has been a major factor in building the rapidly growing client base for the enTrader product suite.
Over the recent past, David has been director of business development at the former ICIS Technology and was responsible for the sales of their NETA products to around seventy percent of the UK power industry. After Siemens acquired ICIS, David worked for Global Energy Decisions and then Allegro, with energy software and consultancy sales into the UK, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Scandinavia, the Netherlands and even Russia. David joined Contigo in February 2009.
David has a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic engineering from Salford University, graduating in 1978.
"I had spent the last 7 years or so working for U.S. software organisations who really struggled to understand the subtleties of the European and U.K. energy market. When I met the Contigo team and saw enTrader, I immediately recognised the potential of a system that had so much experience invested in its development. It has been particularly satisfying to have been party to the success so quickly in terms of not only sales, but also through to a very satisfied and referenceable client base. This is far from a given in our industry and is a true accolade to the whole Contigo team."

“Contigo is at the vanguard of the next genre of ETRM systems. When I first met the team and saw enTrader I knew this was a special company. Having been part of the leadership team with a major vendor of the first generation of ETRM systems I instantly recognised that Contigo had developed the vision we had been speaking of a decade ago! Clean modern architecture supporting flexible and rich functionality that can be deployed in an agile fashion – it’s no surprise that I am both delighted and privileged to be part of this exiting company”
