In a busy month for award ceremonies, Contigo attended the UKIT Awards as finalists in this year’s Business IT Innovation of the Year Award. The gala evening was hosted at the Battersea Park Events Arena, London, by the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) and Computing UK. The event was an opportunity for the nation’s leading IT organisations to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence. The awards also focused on the contribution of individuals, projects, organisations and technologies that have excelled in the use, development and deployment of IT in the past 12 months.

Marketing Director, Jonathan Yeomans attended the Orange National Business Awards to represent Contigo and the enTrader Product Suite as a finalists in this year’s Innovation Award. This prestigious award acknowledges companies that have taken extraordinary steps to develop innovation within its organisation, such as driving forward research and development in products, services or company processes.

We are proud to announce that for a second year running, Contigo has been awarded a Special Commendation in the CTRM Software Category at this year’s Commodity Business Awards. The award recognises our impact on the commodity market trading industry over the past year and highlight’s the enTrader Product Suite’s 100% client satisfaction rate. The awards were hosted by industry publication Commodities Now and are designed to reward those who are making a significant impact on the way commodity business is conducted.

Based in Solihull, the ETRM specialists are shortlisted for the prestigious Orange Innovation Award, in the eleventh annual National Business Awards.

Contigo has been nominated because of its innovative web-based enTrader Product Suite which has revolutionised the energy trading and risk management industry.

Contigo's Managing Director, Simon Piercy and Marketing and Operations Director, Jonathan Yeomans recently attended the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham.

Simon was amongst the finalists in the Midlands Awards, which were presented at a prestigious black tie event within the city centre. The awards celebrated leading entrepreneurs in the Midlands who have demonstrated innovation, creativity and the tenacity to succeed in business. The winners would then go on represent the region at the national awards held in October. The evening ceremony was hosted by TV and radio presenter Jeremy Vine.

Contigo were recently nominated for two awards at the relatively new, but prestigious Business Desk West Midlands Business Masters Awards 2012. Adrian Bullock, Contigo’s Technical Director, and Dave Calmonson, Contigo’s Sales Manager, attended the awards ceremony at the Birmingham Town Hall.
